1. Who we are

ResumeGenerator is operated by Midpoint Solutions Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India, with its registered office at Koramangala, Bangalore 560034, Karnataka, India. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Midpoint Solutions Pvt Ltd.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — email address and name provided when you sign up or sign in via Google OAuth.
• Resume content — text and files you upload or enter while using the builder (work experience, education, skills, etc.).
• Payment information — order ID and payment status. Card or UPI details are handled directly by Cashfree Payments and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and browser/device type, collected via standard server logs.
• Waitlist email — if you submit your email to join our waitlist, we store that address to notify you when we launch.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and improve the resume building service.
• To generate AI-powered suggestions using Anthropic's Claude API — your resume content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• To process payments and verify access to paid features.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., payment confirmation).
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which uses PostgreSQL with row-level security. Resume files are stored in Supabase Storage. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no system is completely infallible.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Anthropic — AI text generation for resume suggestions.
• Cashfree Payments — payment processing for the ₹49 AI access fee.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method; governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data retention

Your account and resume data are retained for as long as your account is active. Paid AI access expires 3 days after purchase, but your resume data is not deleted. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at portal@billgenerator.in. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (session tokens set by Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
