Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ResumeGenerator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Midpoint Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), incorporated in India. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

ResumeGenerator is an AI-powered resume builder that allows users to create, edit, and export professional resumes. Features include AI-generated suggestions, ATS scoring, and PDF export. Some features require a one-time payment as described in the Pricing section.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

4. Account and access

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payments and refunds

Certain AI features require a one-time payment of ₹49, which grants access for 3 days from the time of payment, per resume. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments and are subject to their terms.

All payments are non-refundable once AI features have been accessed. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the features, contact us at portal@billgenerator.in within 48 hours of purchase and we will review your case.

Your resume data is never deleted when access expires — only the AI feature access lapses.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service.
• Share your account access with others or resell access.
• Misuse AI-generated content by claiming it as originally authored by you in contexts where that is prohibited (e.g., academic submissions).

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit (your resume data). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process and display it solely to provide the Service.

All software, designs, trademarks, and other materials comprising the Service are owned by Midpoint Solutions Pvt Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written consent.

8. AI-generated content

AI suggestions and rewrites are generated by Anthropic's Claude API. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific job application. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before submitting your resume to employers.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI suggestions will result in job offers or interviews.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Midpoint Solutions Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
